LifeSafer ISA is designed to teach and encourage safe driving habits for new and teen drivers. Its speed assist technology prevents vehicles from exceeding posted speed limits, reducing the risk of speeding-related accidents. With customizable top speed limits and active speed control (even in reverse), it ensures consistent and safe driving practices.

Every device is equipped with an override button, which can be used to temporarily turn off ISA in case of emergency.

No. ISA devices are installed (and removed) by a trained technician to protect the vehicle and guarantee proper functionality.  Visit our new driver installation page for more information.

Some newer cars might have a system that tells you the speed limit, but these systems usually just give you information and can often be turned off. Unlike LifeSafer ISA, this system does not actively prevent exceeding the posted speed limit.

Think of ISA as a temporary driving instructor meant to help your teen build safe driving habits and feel more confident when on the road. Once your teen driver feels they don’t need the extra help, it can be taken out.

We offer ISA programs that can be tailored to your teen's needs based on where they are in their driving journey. Visit the New Driver program page for more information.
