ISA pilot aims to curb speeding on D.C. roadways

MSN covers the DFHV and the HSO partnership with LifeSafer in a groundbreaking ISA pilot to reduce speeding & traffic fatalities in Washington, D.C.

How ISA can positively impact Washington D.C. traffic

MSN recently covered the launch of a program in Washington D.C., featuring a partnership between LifeSafer and the Department of For-Hire Vehicles and the Highway Safety Office, to pilot the use of Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) vehicle safety technology on D.C. school buses.

Michael Travars, President of LifeSafer, outlined the device's safety mechanisms and how it can transform driving behaviors, not just for individual drivers, but also for public and school transportation systems.

With traffic incidents top of mind, LifeSafer is committed to creating safer roads by helping drivers stay within posted speed limits. Our mission is clear: making the roads safer for everyone.

The pilot program has received excellent feedback from participating drivers. Miltina Hunter, a driver from DC School Connect, told MSN, "It's a real good safety system – I think everyone should use it."
